Lilly Flower Tea Sandwiches
1 small package of goat cheese
1 8oz container cream cheese
1 carrot
6 Green onions
Salt/pepper
1 tablespoon thyme
1 loaf White Bread DO NOT FREEZE BREAD

Mix cheeses, salt, pepper and thyme together.
Using a scalloped edge or round cookie cutter (2 inch diameter), cut bread and flatten each piece with a rolling pin. Spread enough cheese to cover the bread. Pinch together 1/3 of the round to form an open cone. Place a sliver of carrot into the throat of each cone. Place a stalk of green onion at the base for the stem. Serve on a platter. Makes 20 flowers sandwiches.
Lemon Lavender
Cream Cheese Cookies
8 oz butter (2 sticks)
8 oz whipped cream cheese
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp dried lavender
Zest of one lemon
Cream the butter and add one at a time cream cheese, sugar, flour, vanilla. Mix well after each addition. Stir in lemon zest and lavender.
Drop cookies on to sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 deg for about 12-15 minutes. WATCH they burn easily!!! Try a variation of this recipe: Instead of vanilla use 1 teaspoon of anise flavoring; instead of lemon zest use orange zest and instead of lavender use ½ cup of finely chopped
